Westfield was key to elevating the YHC soccer program to the topĀ 10 in the nation.
During his freshman year, he scored 35 goals and had 15 assists.Ā During his sophomore year, he was selected as team captain.Ā
Throughout his YHC career, he receieved multiple accoladesĀ including First Team All-Region, All-Tournament Team, NJCAA FirstĀ All-South Team and First Team All-American.
Westfield is the first two-time All-American in YHC history and isĀ second for all-time leading scorers at YHC. In 2012, he was inductedĀ into the National Junior College Athletic Association Soccer Hall ofĀ Fame.
After YHC, he attended Clemson University. During his seniorĀ season, he finished with 20 goals and five assists for 45 points, andĀ was twice named ACC Player of the Week. He was also namedĀ National Player of the Week by College Soccer News and was on theĀ National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American Second
Team.
Westfield was a member of the National Society for CollegiateĀ Scholars and was drafted as the No. 22 overall pick in the MLS.Ā Westfield currently serves as president of the youth department atĀ Bethel New Life for the Chris International Ministry. He is involvedĀ in coordinating sporting activities within the community of CoconutĀ Drive Morvant in Trinidad.
