YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Continued winter weather predicted across the Southeast has prompted additional schedule adjustments for the Young Harris College women's and men's basketball programs.

As previously announced, the Mountain Lions' home contests against North Greenville, originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, have been rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 2, with the women's game tipping off at 5 p.m. followed by the men at 7 p.m. The decision was made jointly by both institutions with the safety of student-athletes, staff, and fans as the top priority.

In addition, Young Harris' conference matchups against Southern Wesleyan have now also been moved due to forecasted icy conditions. The women's and men's basketball games originally slated for Tuesday, Jan. 27, will instead be played on Thursday, Jan. 29. Tip-off times remain unchanged, with the women's game set for 5 p.m. and the men's contest to follow at 7 p.m.
