YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Mountain Lions starting pitcher Zach Hart has been named Conference Carolinas pitcher of the week! Young Harris College's ace, Zach Hart, lived up to the title on Opening Day, delivering a masterful performance that propelled the Mountain Lions to a 3-2 victory over Auburn University at Montgomery. Hart dominated on the mound, tossing seven scoreless innings while allowing just three hits, striking out three, and keeping the Warhawks off balance all afternoon. 

With his precision and poise, Hart begins the 2025 campaign with a spotless 0.00 ERA and a stingy opponent batting average of just .125. His shutdown outing anchored a season-opening sweep for YHC, as the Mountain Lions roared to a perfect 3-0 start. 

If Opening Day was any indication, the Mountain Lions have a true ace leading their staff.
