YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College Baseball junior Catcher has been named a Division Two Conference Commissioners Association First-Team All-American. This is now Enrico's second All-American selection following a sensational year behind the plate to lead to the Mountain Lions to a Conference Carolinas Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Southeast Regional title game.
The junior from Woodstock, Georgia put together a sensational year and cemented himself as one of the nation's best players at the plate and behind the dish. On the year, Enrico recorded a .399 batting average with 85 hits, 52 runs scored, 61 RBI, 21 doubles, eight home runs and 36 walks. Enrico was also a wall behind the plate, collecting 328 putouts and 26 assists while committing just one error for a .997 fielding percentage.
Enrico played a major role in Young Harris' historic postseason run during the 2026 campaign. The Mountain Lions captured the Conference Carolinas Championship with a 13-0 run-rule victory over North Greenville in the title game before advancing to the NCAA Southeast Regional championship game.
The D2CCA All-America honor adds to an already decorated season for Enrico, who established himself as one of the premier catchers in NCAA Division II Baseball while helping guide the Mountain Lions to one of the most successful seasons in program history.
