YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College Baseball had three players named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region Team. Jack Enrico earned first-team honors while Kade Smallwood and Drew Bray were named second-team honors.
Enrico put together an outstanding junior season behind the plate to earn first-team honors. Enrico posted a .399 batting average with 85 hits, 52 runs scored, 61 RBIs, 21 doubles, eight home runs and 36 walks. Enrico also posted a .997 fielding percentage as the Mountain Lions' catcher, committing just one error while recording 328 putouts and 26 assists.
Smallwood earned Second Team recognition after a powerful season at first base, batting .345 with 78 hits, 72 runs scored, 96 RBIs, 16 doubles, and tied for the team lead with 20 home runs. In his first full season as the Mountain Lions' starting first baseman, Smallwood also posted a .988 fielding percentage with 401 putouts and 15 assists.
Bray earned Second Team honors following a strong senior season at the hot corner, batting .376 with 94 hits, 18 doubles, 10 home runs, 57 RBI and 51 walks. Bray earned second team All-Conference honors and earned Conference Carolinas All-Defensive Team honors with 132 assists, 36 putouts and a .955 fielding percentage.
