YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College Baseball cornerstones Jack Enrico and Kade Smallwood have earned D2CCA All-Southeast Region honors following a standout 2026 season that saw the Mountain Lions capture the Conference Carolinas Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Southeast Regional title game.
Junior catcher Jack Enrico was named First Team All-Southeast Region after putting together one of the top offensive seasons in the region. Enrico finished the year batting .399 with 85 hits, 52 runs scored, 61 RBIs, 21 doubles, eight home runs, and 36 walks while serving as a key leader behind the plate. Defensively, he recorded 328 putouts and 26 assists while committing just one error for a .997 fielding percentage.
Junior first baseman Kade Smallwood earned Second Team All-Southeast Region recognition after a breakout campaign in the middle of the Mountain Lions' lineup. Smallwood hit .345 with 78 hits, 72 runs scored, 96 RBIs, 16 doubles, and 20 home runs during the season. In his first full year as Young Harris' starting first baseman, he also posted a .988 fielding percentage with 401 putouts and 15 assists.
The duo helped power Young Harris through a historic postseason run, highlighted by a 13-0 run-rule victory over North Greenville in the Conference Carolinas Championship game before the Mountain Lions advanced to the Southeast Regional title game.
