Young Harris, GA| Young Harris College 2023 alumni Ethan Underwood has signed a professional baseball contract with the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer Baseball League. 

The second baseman out of Acworth, Georgia, played for the Mountain Lions from 2019 to 2023. During Underwood's time in the Enchanted Valley, he posted a batting average of .328, recording 169 hits, and 96 RBI. Underwood also tallied 92 walks drawn and 37 stolen bases and played a key part of the 2022 team that won the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. 

Underwood was named to the 2023 NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association) All-Southeast Region Second Team and the 2023 D2CCA All-Southeast Region Second Team. The Raptors are an MLB Partner League affiliate in Ogden, Utah. The Raptors have been a part of the Pioneer league since 1994; they have won the Pioneer League Championship two times, once in 2017, and last season.
