GREENVILLE, S.C. | Young Harris Women's Basketball was picked tied for fifth with North Greenville in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll. The Mountain Lions finished their 2023-24 campaign 16-14 overall and 11-7 in conference play. The strong season saw YHC beat Converse University 71-59 in the first round of the conference tournament.
Junior guard
Kamryn Bates returns and looks to be an impact player for YHC again this season. Bates was the third leading scorer for the Purple and White, averaging eight points per game last year. She shined as the main facilitator for the Mountain Lions leading the team with 90 assists last year.
The team welcomes nine new freshmen and two transfers to the team for the 2024-25 season.

th against Georgia College. Young Harris hosts their
home opener against Agnes Scott College
on Wednesday, November 13th in the Harp.
