Tim Asis won the Bobcat Invitational Saturday (Sept. 10) morning.
The Mountain Lions finished in fifth place overall with 125 points while Augusta University won the 13-team meet with 56 points.
Tim Asis, who was running in his first meet for the Mountain Lions, completed the 8K race on the Council Farm Course with a time of 24:52.3. Teammate
Mathew Biwott also recorded a top-five finish as he came in fourth place with a time of 25:37.6.
Jeremy Webb came in 23rd place with a time of 28:09.6 while
Abraham Asis was 52nd with a time of 29:54.2 and
Raul Ramirez was 53rd in a time of 29:54.8.
Young Harris returns to competition next Saturday (Sept. 17) when they compete in the Falcon Classic in Montevallo, Alabama, at 8 a.m. Central time.
