Asis finishes 63rd at NCAA Division II National Championship

Young Harris College had its second-ever runner compete as an individual at the 2016 NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country National Championship Saturday (Nov. 19) morning.

Tim Asis, a sophomore from Eldoret, Kenya, completed the 10K race ran on the Abbey Course on the campus of Saint Leo University in a time of 31:42.9, good for 63rd place out of the 242 competitors that ran.

It's the best ever finish  - either by place or time - by a YHC runner at the NCAA meet. Mathew Biwott finished in 134th place with time of 31:45.5.
