Scott leads Young Harris in exhibition at Lipscomb

Virginia Scott scored 11 points to lead the Young Harris College women's basketball team as Lipscomb University recorded a 100-61 exhibition win Saturday (Nov. 7) evening at Allen Arena.

Lipscomb is a NCAA Division I institution that plays in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Young Harris will continue its exhibition schedule in Nashville, Tennessee, Friday (Nov. 13) when they face NCAA Division I opponent Belmont University in a 5:30 p.m. Central time contest.

Sara Jorgensen and Sarah Garner added seven points against Lipscomb while Savannah Anderson added six points and a team-high seven rebounds. Jasmine Knight contributed five points and a team-high five assists while Meredit Tarver added five points and five rebounds for the Mountain Lions.
