YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team put together a strong weekend, earning a pair of victories with a 6-1 win at Shorter on Friday and a 7-0 sweep over King on Saturday. The Mountain Lions improve to 8-9 overall.
Match One: Young Harris 6, Shorter 1
The Mountain Lions opened the weekend in dominant fashion, sweeping all three doubles courts to secure the opening point before winning five of six singles matches.
Noah Pawirodirjo and Samuel Guzon led the way at No. 1 doubles with a 6-2 victory, while Guillem Busquets Brau and Greyson Williams followed with a 6-4 win at No. 2. Mason Harmon and Nills Vercruyssen completed the sweep with a 6-3 win at No. 3.
In singles play, Pawirodirjo delivered a dominant pro set win (8-0) at No. 1. Busquets Brau earned a straight-set victory at No. 2 (6-3, 6-3), while Harmon controlled No. 4 (6-4, 6-0). Williams added a pro set win at No. 5 (8-3), and Noah Torrealba Auerbach closed things out at No. 6 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory.
Shorter picked up its lone point at No. 3 singles.

Young Harris returned home Saturday and delivered a complete sweep over King, winning all three doubles matches and all six singles courts.
Pawirodirjo and Guzon secured a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, while Busquets Brau and Williams dominated 6-0 at No. 2. Harmon and Vercruyssen clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory at No. 3.
In singles, Pawirodirjo rolled at No. 1 (6-1, 6-1), and Busquets Brau followed with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 2. Guzon battled through a three-set match at No. 3, earning a super tiebreak victory (6-1, 4-6, 10-5).
Harmon added a straight-set win at No. 4 (6-4, 6-1), while Williams controlled No. 5 (6-2, 6-1). Rowan Parker capped the sweep at No. 6 with a hard-fought three-set victory (7-6, 2-6, 11-9).
