SUMTER, S.C. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team advanced to the semifinal round of the Conference Carolinas Championship after defeating Lees-McRae and Emmanuel before falling to Mount Olive at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
Round One: Young Harris 4, Lees-McRae 1
The Mountain Lions opened the tournament with a 4-1 victory over Lees-McRae on April 22, securing the doubles point and three singles wins to advance.
Young Harris claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Noah Pawirodirjo and Samuel Guzon earned a 7-5 victory at No. 1, while Mason Harmon and Nills Vercruyssen added a 6-1 win at No. 3.
In singles play, Guillem Busquets Brau secured a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2, Harmon followed with a 7-6, 6-0 victory at No. 4, and Vercruyssen clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6. Two matches at No. 3 and No. 5 went unfinished following the clinch.

Quarterfinals: Young Harris 4, Emmanuel 3
The Mountain Lions battled back from a doubles point deficit to earn a 4-3 win over Emmanuel on April 23.
After Emmanuel took the doubles point, Young Harris responded with four singles wins. Busquets Brau earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 2, while Samuel Guzon picked up a three-set win at No. 3, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
Greyson Williams delivered a 7-6, 6-3 win at No. 5, and Vercruyssen secured the match with a three-set victory at No. 6, 7-6, 4-6, 6-1.

Young Harris' tournament run came to an end in the semifinal round on April 24 with a 4-1 loss to Mount Olive.
The Trojans claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3, while Greyson Williams and Guillem Busquets Brau earned a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles for the Mountain Lions.
In singles play, Noah Pawirodirjo secured Young Harris' lone point with a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1. Matches at No. 4 and No. 6 went unfinished following the clinch.
