FERRUM, Va. | Young Harris did not just open conference play today, they detonated it. Young Harris exploded for 25 goals and suffocated Ferrum from the opening draw, rolling to a dominant 25-1 victory to improve to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
The Mountain Lions buried eight goals in the first quarter alone and never looked back, holding Ferrum without a shot in the opening frame. By halftime, Young Harris had built a 13-1 advantage and continued to pour it on, outshooting the Panthers 44-4 for the game.
