YOUNG HARRIS, GA| Young Harris College Women's Lacrosse has announced the promotion of Rachel Robb to Associate Head Coach. Robb joined the Mountain Lions Women's Lacrosse coaching staff in 2024, following a distinguished playing career in goal for Young Harris.
In the 2026 season, Robb helped lead the Mountain Lions to an historic year on the field. This season saw Young Harris Women's Lacrosse post a 15-6 record, going undefeated in conference play to win the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Regular Season and Tournament Championship. This historic year featured six student athletes being named all-conference and was capped off with a first-round appearance in the NCAA DII Women's Lacrosse Championship. Under the leadership of Rachel Robb and Young Harris Women's Lacrosse head coach Christine Hatton, the Mountain Lions achieved their first Conference Carolinas Championship and will look to keep building on their success.
On the promotion, Rachel Robb states, "I couldn't be more grateful for this promotion. I am so proud of the accomplishments we have had and the progress this program is making. It is a joy each day to coach this team, and as an alumna I couldn't feel a stronger connection to YHC Women's Lacrosse and am excited to continue to lead this group with Coach Hatton.
