YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College men's and women's tennis have released their 2026 schedules, featuring early season exhibitions, neutral-site matches, a balanced Conference Carolinas slate, and a long postseason path.
Both programs will open the spring with competitive non-conference tests before transitioning into league play, with home matches being played at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex in Young Harris.
INSIDE THE SCHEDULE:
Women's Tennis
The Mountain Lions open the spring with a pair of exhibition matches, traveling to Western Carolina University on Feb. 1 before heading to Emory University on Feb. 7. Young Harris then enters a neutral-site stretch in Harrogate, Tenn., facing Tusculum University and Lincoln Memorial University on Feb. 14, followed by Carson-Newman University on Feb. 15.
The regular-season slate continues with an exhibition road match at Mercer University on Feb. 18, a great test, before Conference Carolinas action begins on Feb. 21 at North Greenville University.
Young Harris returns home on Feb. 22 to host UVA Wise, beginning a stretch of home matches that includes Columbus State University (Feb. 26), Middle Georgia State University (Feb. 28), and Georgia College (Mar. 3).
Following a road match at Lander University on Mar. 11, conference play continues with Erskine College on Mar. 13, followed by a home matchup against the University of North Georgia on Mar. 19. The Mountain Lions then travel to the University of Mount Olive (Mar. 21) and Emmanuel University (Mar. 24).
The closing weeks of the regular season include home conference matches against Ferrum College (Mar. 27), Francis Marion University (Mar. 28), Shorter University (Apr. 1), King University (Apr. 11), and Emmanuel University (Apr. 15), along with road contests at Erskine College (Apr. 7), Shorter University (Apr. 10), Belmont Abbey College (Apr. 17), and Lees-McRae College (Apr. 18).
Men's Tennis
The men's team begins the spring with exhibition play at UNC Asheville on Jan. 31, followed by a road exhibition at Emory University on Feb. 8. Like the women, the Mountain Lions will compete at the Harrogate, Tenn., neutral-site event, facing Tusculum University and Lincoln Memorial University on Feb. 14 before taking on Carson-Newman University on Feb. 15.

The regular season concludes with road matches at Shorter University (Apr. 10), Belmont Abbey College (Apr. 17), and Lees-McRae College (Apr. 18).
