YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College baseball standout Jeremy Begora has been named to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II Southeast Region All-Defensive Team at first base for his exceptional defensive performance in 2025. The senior from Cartersville, Georgia paired his elite glove work with a stellar offensive season, hitting .347 with 19 home runs, 69 hits, 62 RBI, a .678 slugging percentage, .488 on-base percentage, and 1.166 OPS. Begora, a three-time team home run leader, also secured First Team All-Conference Carolinas honors for his defense at first base.

Over his 165-game career in the Enchanted Valley, Begora amassed a .359 batting average, 209 hits, 47 home runs (a program record), 184 RBIs, a .489 on-base percentage, and .675 slugging percentage. His 2025 season, highlighted by 19 homers and 62 RBIs, showcased his dominance as one of Young Harris baseball's all-time greats.
