GREENVILLE, S.C. | Five members of the Young Harris College women's lacrosse program were honored by Conference Carolinas with all-conference selections, as announced by the league office ahead of the 2025 championship semifinals. The Mountain Lions, who closed out their regular season on a five-game win streak and took down North Greenville in the Quarterfinals; saw standout performances across the field, with players earning spots on the first, second, and third teams. 

Sophomore attacker Riley Parker was named to the First Team after a dominant campaign as one of the top offensive players in the league. A native of Woodstock, Georgia, Parker started all 17 games for Young Harris and led the team with 61 goals—four of which were game-winners—while adding 16 assists for a team-high 77 points. She also contributed across the board with 52 draw controls, 34 ground balls, and 14 caused turnovers. Parker earned back-to-back Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week honors and was instrumental in YHC's late-season surge. 

Joining Parker on the First Team was junior defender Hayden Hennessy from Irmo, South Carolina. A consistent presence on the back line, Hennessy started all 16 games for the Mountain Lions and recorded 27 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers. She also ranked third on the team in draw controls with 39 and added a goal and an assist on the offensive end. Hennessy helped anchor a defense that held several top opponents in check during YHC's impressive final stretch. 

Senior goalkeeper Abbie Gallagher was recognized on the Second Team following a strong season between the pipes. Hailing from Normandy, Tennessee, Gallagher made 13 starts in 16 appearances, posting a 9-5 record with 115 saves and a .502 save percentage—ranking fourth in the league. Her goals-against average of 11.69 was sixth best in Conference Carolinas. On the Third Team, junior midfielder Mary Troyer (Johns Creek, Ga.) and junior defender Ella Clifford (East Islip, N.Y.) rounded out the Mountain Lions' honorees. Troyer was a force in the midfield leading the team with 82 draw controls, 38 total points, and key contributions on both ends of the field. Clifford added 35 ground balls and caused 21 turnovers on the defensive end.
