Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College men's tennis team battled hard against the University of Mount Olive but came up short in a 5-2 decision Saturday (Mar. 29) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Mountain Lions (5-12) showcased their grit and determination throughout the match, securing key wins in both singles and doubles play.

Young Harris found success in doubles action, with the No. 3 pairing of Greyson Williams and Gregor Gottein putting together an impressive performance to claim a 6-2 victory. The No. 1 duo of Mason Harmon and Noah Pawirodirjo fought valiantly in a tightly contested match but ultimately fell 7-5.
In singles play, Mason Harmon continued to shine at the No. 1 position, delivering a thrilling three-set battle. After securing the first set 7-6 in a tiebreaker, Harmon pushed his opponent to the limit before winning a third-set tiebreak. Gregor Gottein also put forth a strong showing at No. 4, forcing his opponent to retire after splitting the first two sets, resulting in a victory for the Mountain Lions.
Despite their best efforts, Young Harris was unable to overcome Mount Olive in the remaining singles matchups.
