YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Making a statement in Conference Carolinas and NCAA DII, the Mountain Lions swept the Trojans of Mount Olive this weekend in thrilling fashion (Mar 28th-29th). Jeremy Begora found a groove at the plate this series, with a collective 12 RBI and five home runs. Â
The Mountain Lions head to 24-9 on the 2025 campaign and move to 13-5 in Conference Carolinas. The Trojans move to 20-13 overall and are 11-7 in Conference Carolinas.Â

Game 2 (7 innings):Â

After a scoreless first two innings, the top of the lineup got Young Harris on the board in the third. Drew Bray (2-for-3) singled to right field for run number one, followed up by Jeremy Begora's (2-for-3) two-run blast to left center. Â

With a big swing once again, Jeremy Begora went yard, this time in grand-slam fashion, to give YH a 7-0 lead in the fourth inning. Â
Game 3 (9 innings):Â

The long ball game continued for the Mountain Lions. In the second inning, Jonny Smith (2-for-3)Â hit a solo shot to left field.Â

Jakhari Howard can be credited for the Trojan's first run on the day after his RBI double in the third.Â

With his third home run on the day, Jeremy Begora (2-for-3) stepped up to the plate with confidence for another blast over the fences. This was a two-run home run. Â

The Mountain Lions will take the field at Zell B. Miller Field again on Tuesday (Apr 1st) to take on the Pioneers of Tusculum University. First pitch is scheduled for 4PM.  Â
