YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Congratulations to Annalise Malone and Lilly Griffith on being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team!
Malone, a Jr. Forward majoring in Finance and Accounting, holds a 3.80 GPA, while Griffith, a Jr. Guard studying Sport and Recreation Studies, boasts a 3.97 GPA. Malone was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team. Griffith was honored as the Conference Carolinas Elite 23 Award recipient, recognizing her excellence in academics and athletics.
On the court, Malone led the Mountain Lions with 518 points (16.7 PPG), 164 field goals made, 204 rebounds, and an average of 29.6 minutes per game. Griffith was a key playmaker, starting all 29 games while contributing 135 points, 206 rebounds, and 52 assists.
As a CSC Academic All-America® finalist, Malone advances to the national ballot, where CSC members will vote on first-, second-, and third-team honorees. Winners will be announced on April 15, 2025.
The CSC Academic All-District® program honors student-athletes for excellence both in the classroom and on the court. The Academic All-America® program recognizes top performers across NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA levels, with financial support from NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA governance structures.
