SPARTANBURG, SC. A thrilling 75-67 overtime win for Young Harris gives them the nod to the Conference Carolinas semifinals (Mar 7
th). The Mountain Lions continue to thrive in the biggest of moments. Down four points with two minutes to go,
Ivona Miljanic made crucial free throws, and the defense held their ground. Miljanic finished the day with 23 points and nailed 7 of 8 from the charity stripe.

The Mountain Lions win over the Braves puts them in the next round of the Conference Carolinas tournament that will take place on Saturday (Mar 8
th) at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, SC. YH will take on the Patriots of Francis Marion University tomorrow at a 12:30PM in the semifinals.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Three Mountain Lions recorded double digit points this afternoon. Ivona Miljanic (23), Kamryn Bates (18), and Annalise Malone (18) were the offensive leaders.Â
- Parehuia Delamere had a stellar 14 rebounds, 11 which were on the defensive side. P and the rest of the defense limited UNC Pembroke to only shooting with a 25% efficiency from beyond the arc.Â
- At halftime, the Purple & White trailed 28-32.Â
- YH only turned the ball over five times through 45 minutes of play.
- Ivona Miljanic and Kamryn Bates were extremely efficient from the free throw line, making a collective 16 of 19. This really paid dividends in the final minutes.
- The Mountain Lions outscored the Braves 16 to 8 in the overtime period.
- Young Harris had an eye-catching 40 points in the paint to UNCP's 26. It seemed like YH found lanes in the paint all afternoon.
