CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The Mountain Lions hit the road today (March 18th) to take on the Flames of Lee University in a mid-week matchup. Young Harris headed home victorious, taking today's matchup by the score of 7-0. A dominant pitching performance propelled YHC to victory, shutting out the Flames. 

The Mountain Lions move to 17-8 overall and remain 8-4 in Conference Carolinas. Lee moves to 13-14 overall and are 6-9 in the Gulf South Conference. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: 

• Kade Smallwood (1-4) got the scoring started for YHC, blasting a two-run homerun to score Luke Hatcher and create a 2-0 lead in the 4th inning. 

• Luke Hatcher (2-4) would extend the lead to 4-0 in the 7th inning, hitting a 2-RBI double down the 3rd base line to score Jonny Smith and Drew Bray. 

• The Young Harris lead would extend to 5-0 later in the 7th inning with Luke Hatcher crossing home by way of a Kade Smallwood sacrifice fly. 

• Drew Bray (1-3) stretched the lead to 6-0 in the 8th inning, bringing home Carlos Martans on an RBI single to left field. 

• Luke Hatcher would add on in the 9th inning, knocking a solo homerun over the left-field fence to give the Mountain Lions an 7-0 lead. 

• Young Harris used a combined pitching effort to shut out the Flames with Austin Ritchie recording the win, throwing 3 innings of 1 hit ball.
