WILSON & MURFREESBORO, NC. | After a tough start to the weekend at Barton, the Mountain Lions gained some momentum with a 7-0 win over Chowan (Mar 14^th/15^th). Gregor Gottein pulled some weight helping YH secure a doubles point in addition to his singles victory against the Hawks.
 
The Mountain Lions move to 4-9 on the 2025 campaign and are 2-2 in Conference Carolinas play. 
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
 
@ Barton College (Mar 14^th)

• The Mountain Lions faced a tough opponent in the Bulldogs – falling short in the doubles and singles matches. Young Harris dropped with a final score of 7-0.

 
@ Chowan University (Mar 15^th)

• YH defeated Chowan with a final score of 7-0.
• Nils Vercruyssen & Greyson Williams grabbed a doubles point (6-2) as well as the stellar duo of Parker Rowan & Gregor Gottein (6-1).
• Mason Harmon (6-1, 6-2), Samuel Guzon (6-3, 6-1), Gregor Gottein (6-4, 2-6, 10-5), Mika Sheth (6-1, 6-4) finished with singles victories for Young Harris.

 
UP NEXT: The Mountain Lions return to the Enchanted Valley and will play the University of Montevallo and North Greenville University this upcoming week. They will take on the Falcons of UM Tuesday (Mar 18^th) at 1PM and the Trailblazers of NGU (Mar 21^st) at 1PM.
