HARROGATE, TN. In a close 10-12 battle, the Mountain Lions fall just short to the Lincoln Memorial Rail-splitters in the season opener (Feb 8
th). Young Harris had five different scorers,
Riley Parker with a hat trick.
The Mountain Lions move to 0-1 and Lincoln Memorial is 2-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Riley Parker (3), Sydney Craig (2), Ashlyn Fraley (2), Jess Sujishi (2), and Brooklyn Kiest (1) were the goal scorers for the Mountain Lions.
- Young Harris scored 2 goals in the first three quarters, and then 4 in the home stretch of the fourth quarter.
- LMU led YHC 9-4 heading into the half.
- Josie Tinnerello was a standout for Lincoln Memorial with four goals.
- The Rail-splitters had seven different goal scorers.
- LMU had 22 turnovers to YHC's 17.
- The draw control ratio was 15-10 in favor of Lincoln Memorial.
