YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Mountain Lions men's tennis team battled the Bearcats at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex but fell to Lander University 5-2. 

Young Harris now sits at 2-4 overall in the early stages of the season. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Bearcats secured the doubles point, winning two of the three matches. 

• The duo of Mason Harmon & Samuel Guzon (6-3) earned the lone doubles victory for Young Harris. 

• Caleb McCurry (6-4, 2-6, & 12-10) and Mason Harmon (7-6 & 6-4) picked up singles wins for the Mountain Lions, while Lander took the remaining four matches to claim the overall victory. 

• Harmon had the best Mountain Lion performance, winning both his doubles and singles matches on the day.
