QUOTE FROM HEAD COACH LINDSEY HUFFMAN:
"I don't feel we played our best basketball as a team today. There are so many factors that go into winning- rebounding and half-court defense are at the top of that list in my opinion. I didn't feel our half-court defense was as impactful as it usually is, and I wasn't happy with our rebounding efforts. We gave up way too many paint points and didn't consistently convert our shots at the rim. Good teams learn from the losses. We will be very focused on growing from this loss in the next few practices."
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
-
Kamryn Bates once again led the Mountain Lions with 20 points, two rebounds, and an assist, showcasing her scoring prowess.
-
Parehuia Delamere had a solid game with seven points, six rebounds, and four assists, along with five steals.
