Year after year, the Young Harris Baseball program continues to be a fun and exciting team to watch. And these prestigious baseball associations agree, highly ranking the Mountain Lions across all of Division II. 
 
D2 Baseball slotted Young Harris at 15. Listed as a "regional strength", this association expects the Mountain Lions to make noise in an ultra-competitive region. Catawba, UNC Pembroke, North Greenville, and Georgia College were other teams belonging to the Southeast Region that were listed in this preseason poll.
 
National College Baseball Writer Association (NCBWA) evaluated YHC at 16 across Division II, and 3^rd in the Southeast Region. This is a highly respected organization in the world of college baseball.
 
College Baseball Hub placed the Mountain Lions in the 16 spot as well. Returning several key players and adding some difference makers has caught the eyes of national media. 
 
Young Harris also makes an appearance in the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) rankings, finding themselves in the 18 spot. Coming off an impressive 41-win season, the Mountain Lions received 121 votes in this preseason poll.

The Mountain Lions open up the 2025 season on the road at Auburn University Montgomery this weekend (Feb 1st/2nd) in a three-game series.
