th).
Kamryn Bates led the way with 23 points; she was dominant inside the paint and beyond the arc. Young Harris made it a struggle to score all night for Francis Marion, as they picked up another conference win.Â
Â

QUOTING HEAD COACH LINDSEY HUFFMAN:
"We just really wanted it. We hit some patches of adversity lately. We dropped two in a row, and we were just struggling to find our confidence. The taste in our mouths after we lost at the buzzer at Francis Marion has not gone away in about a month and a half, so that was some added fuel, and the girls really wanted to beat them." Continuing, "If it were my choice, we would be a first and second half team, but I think coming out of the locker room when we are able to take a breather and make some adjustments and talk. It gets down to now the game is passing us by and we have really got to lock in so just credit the team, they have been locked into this game for a while. They did what was necessary to win."
