TIGERVILLE, S.C. | Young Harris men's tennis dominated North Greenville and won 6-1 on Monday afternoon. The Mountain Lions took the doubles point and strong wins from
Jamie Bixby and
Rodrigo Mendoza in singles paved the way to victory.
QUOTING HEAD COACH MARCY O'CONNOR:
"The guys came out strong in a tough environment and swept the doubles point. The team continued the hot start, and Jamie and Rodrigo won convincingly. Gregor gave us the win at #6 singles."
O'Connor added, "Caleb and Eric won their matches in two close battles as we improved to 6-0 in conference play."
Young Harris improves to 11-6 overall and a perfect 6-0 in Conference Carolinas. North Greenville falls to 3-12 and 1-5.
