Chattanooga, Tenn.| The Young Harris College Men's tennis team took on Columbus State University on Saturday (Mar. 9) afternoon on the road. It was a gloomy day for Young Harris, falling 7-0. 

Young Harris dropped to 3-4 overall on the season, and CSU improved to 6-3 overall. YHC returns to action on Tuesday (Mar. 12), where they face Drury University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

INSIDE THE SCORE SHEET: 

• CSU's Daniel Hammond and Justin Welz both dominated in the match, with Hammond defeating YHC's Rodrigo Mendoza (6-1 and 6-0) and Welz defeating Mason Harmon (6-0 and 6-1). 

• The doubles combination of Mendoza and Caleb McCurry put up the best fight for YHC, falling (6-4) to the Cougars combination of Felix Steen and Andreas Sandrone. 

• In singles, Jamie Bixby battled hard against Thomas Cardona, falling in sets one and two by a score of (6-4) each time.
