Box Score Chattanooga, Tenn.| The Young Harris College Men's tennis team took on Columbus State University on Saturday (Mar. 9) afternoon on the road. It was a gloomy day for Young Harris, falling 7-0.
Young Harris dropped to 3-4 overall on the season, and CSU improved to 6-3 overall. YHC returns to action on Tuesday (Mar. 12), where they face Drury University in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

CSU's Daniel Hammond and Justin Welz both dominated in the match, with Hammond defeating YHC's Rodrigo Mendoza (6-1 and 6-0) and Welz defeating Mason Harmon (6-0 and 6-1).

The doubles combination of Mendoza and Caleb McCurry put up the best fight for YHC, falling (6-4) to the Cougars combination of Felix Steen and Andreas Sandrone.

In singles, Jamie Bixby battled hard against Thomas Cardona, falling in sets one and two by a score of (6-4) each time.
