Wise, VA| The Mountain Lions took on the UVA Wise Cavaliers on Tuesday (Mar. 5) afternoon on the road. Young Harris held their own for most of the game, falling behind 5-3 after one period, but stayed in the game, going back and forth with the Cavs, matching their scores in the second and third periods. UVA Wise eventually pulled away in the fourth period, outscoring Young Harris 5-3 in the fourth, to take the game 17-13.
Young Harris fell to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in Conference Carolinas play. UVA Wise advanced to 3-4 this season, and 0-2 in conference play. YHC returns to action at home on Saturday (Mar. 9) at noon, where they face off against the Lions from Emmanuel University.

Ella Hancock and Belle Hardwick each scored two goals and recorded three assists for five points each.
