Young Harris, GA| The YHC men's tennis team took on Emmanuel University on Thursday (Mar. 28) afternoon at home. The Mountain Lions dominated the Lions, winning 7-0.
Young Harris advanced to 7-6 overall this season and have pushed their winning streak to three in a row.
Emmanuel University dropped to 8-5 on the season. The Mountain Lions return to action on Friday (Apr. 5) when they take on Belmont Abbey College at 1 p.m. at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex in Young Harris.

YHC took two of three doubles matches, with the combinations of Rodrigo Mendoza and Caleb McCurry (6-1) and Jamie Bixby and Hemang Gaur (6-1) picking up wins.

The Mountain Lions won all six singles matches, with four wins coming in just two straight sets. Bixby (6-3 and 6-4), Mendoza (6-4 and 6-2), McCurry (6-4 and 6-4), and Eric DelValle (6-4 and 6-3) won their matches in two sets.

Mason Harmon (6-1, 1-6, and 10-5) and Gaur (4-6, 7-6, and 10-8) both took their oppenents to the third set before eventually cutting them down.
