Chattanooga, TN| The YHC men's tennis team took on the Indians from Catawba College on Wednesday (Mar. 13) afternoon. The Mountain Lions took two of three in doubles matches over the Indians, and won three singles matches to take down Catawba, 4-1. 

Young Harris advances to 4-5 overall this season, and the Indians fall to 3-5. The Mountain Lions return to action on Friday (Mar. 15) afternoon at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex in Young Harris, Georgia, where they face off against the Lander Bearcats. 

INSIDE THE SCORE SHEET: 

• Rodrigo Mendoza and Caleb McCurry (6-1) picked up one of two YHC doubles wins against the Indians, with Jamie Bixby and Hemang Gaur winning the other (6-4).  

• Mondoza (6-1 and 7-5), McCurry (7-5, 3-6, and 10-4), and Eric DelValle (6-1 and 6-0) each won their singles match today to earn the Mountain Lions three points.  

• Mendoza and McCurry each won a singles and doubles match for YHC on the strong Mountain Lion outing versus Catawba.
