Young Harris, GA| The Mountain Lions struck early and often on Saturday (Feb. 3) evening against the Mars Hill Lions. Leading 8-0 at the end of the first quarter, the Mountain Lions surrended three goals in the second to make the game 11-3 in their favor at half time. After the break, Young Harris kept their foot on the gas pedal, outscoring Mars Hill University 13 to 0 in the second half, cruising to their first victory of the season.
The Mountain Lions start their season off with an impressive win, to advance to 1-0 on the young season. The Mars Hill Lions fall to 0-1 in their 2024 campaign. Young Harris returns to action on Thursday (Feb. 8) evening when they face Anderson University in Anderson, S.C. at 6 PM.
