Franklin Springs, GA | On December 4th, the Young Harris College women's basketball team traveled to face off against the Emmanuel Lions. The game started with
Annalise Malone drawing a foul and sinking one of two free throws, putting the first points on the board for the Mountain Lions. Parahuia Delemere was a standout early on, hitting two three-pointers and adding a bucket in the paint, while
Chassidy Fedd was a force at the point guard position, contributing 6 points. By the end of the first quarter, Fedd and Delemere were tied as the leading scorers with 6 points each, helping Young Harris to a 19-15 lead. In the second quarter, Young Harris expanded their advantage with a solid 24-point effort, while Emmanuel managed just 11 points. Malone led the charge with 12 points by halftime, while
Ivona Miljanic and Delemere were tied with 8 points apiece, giving Young Harris a comfortable 43-26 lead going into the break.
Emmanuel came out stronger in the third quarter, outscoring Young Harris 12-11, but the Mountain Lions' defense and offense kept them in control, maintaining a 54-38 lead heading into the final period. The fourth quarter saw both teams exchanging points and grabbing rebounds, with Emmanuel trying to rally and close the 16-point gap. Despite their best efforts, they couldn't catch up, and Young Harris College finished with a 67-54 victory. The win improved Young Harris College's record to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in Conference Carolinas, while Emmanuel University dropped to 2-5 and 1-2 in the conference.

"So proud of our team and their response from Saturday. We played with a lot of resolve and toughness today, which was really rewarding to see. We had a really balanced scoring attack with Annalise, Ivona and Kamryn all scoring in double figures. Â We shared the ball well and really cleaned up the turnovers. Winning on the road is hard- so I'm really happy for our team."

- Annalise Malone was the leading scorer for YHC with 19 points, her stats sheet was exceptional with 7 total rebounds,3-4 at the FT line, 4-5 on shots behing the arc.
- Ivona Miljanic was our second highest scorer with 17 points, going seven for 11 in the field and having a clean sheet, two for two, at the FT line.
- Kamryn Bates was the third highest leading scorer with 11 points in addition to 6 total assists for the Mountain Lions.
- Parahuia Delemere had nine total rebounds, the most this game for YHC.
- Emmanuel's leading scorers were Ade'Jah James (17) and Abby Crawford (12).
- Ade'Jah James had the most rebounds this game out of both teams with 13 total
- The Mountain Lions shooting in the field was 41.7% (25-60) compared to Emmanuel's 27.9% (17-61).
- Young Harris College finished 80% (8-10) compared to the Lions' 75% (12-16) from the charity stripe.
