Mountain Lions Take Toccoa Falls to School on Education Day

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Head coach Lindsey Huffman has the Mountain Lions rolling, enjoying a three-game winning streak going into Tuesday (Nov. 26) afternoons matchup with Toccoa Falls, YHC looked to move that streak to four games. Young Harris was successful in doing so, plucking the Eagles of Toccoa Falls out of the sky, to pick up their fourth straight victory. The Mountain Lions women's basketball team is outscoring their opponents by an asinine 115 points during this two week stretch. Today, in front of the Education Day crowd, Young Harris defeated Toccoa Falls by 28 points (78-50). The Young Harris College women's basketball team now sits at 4-2 overall on the young season.
QUOTE FROM LINDSEY HUFFMAN:
"We are playing together, moving the basketball, and sharing it. Our offense is really improving week-to-week and game-by-game. Our defense has been really tough, we are giving up just 52 PPG right now. I am really proud of the whole group." Continuing, "Francis Marion on Saturday is going to be really tough. They are playing really good basketball, so we will have tomorrow off, and then we will come back on Thursday and Friday to prepare. Hopefully we can get our legs some rest tomorrow and then go right in to prepping for the Patriots."
