CENTRAL, S.C. | Young Harris College men's soccer shut out Southern Wesleyan 2-0 on Tuesday night to complete the series sweep. The victory earns the Mountain Lions a share of the Southwest Division title with a chance to claim back-to-back outright division championships with a win over Shorter on Saturday.
Sergio Llopart had a great game for the Mountain Lions notching a goal and an assist.
Jamie Lapsley punctuated the victory, scoring in the final five minutes.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Sergio Llopart scored for the Purple and White in the 35th minute. He fought for great position in the box on a free kick and redirected it into the back of the net.
- Llopart crossed it into the box in the 87th minute and Lapsley crashed in, booting the ball into the back of the net, putting an exclamation mark on the 2-0 win.
- Young Harris stood strong defensively throughout the entire match to earn the clean sheet.
- Young Harris had 17 shots with 7 on goal to Southern Wesleyan's 7 shots with none on target.
- Stathis Paplomatas got the start in goal for the Mountain Lions and recorded his second shutout of the season.
