Kleinpenning and Le Louarn Earn D2CCA All-America Honors

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College standouts Thomas Kleinpenning and Leho Le Louarn have been selected to the 2025 D2CCA Men's Soccer All-America Team, capping off exceptional seasons that helped propel the Mountain Lions to a Conference Carolinas Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance. 

Junior midfielder Thomas Kleinpenning earned First Team All-America honors after delivering one of the most dominant campaigns in Division II. The native of Ulft, The Netherlands, recorded 12 goals and 13 assists for 37 points, finishing third in Conference Carolinas in goals and leading the league in assists. His outstanding play earned him the Conference Carolinas Player of the Year award, followed by recognition as the D2CCA Southeast Region Player of the Year. Nationally, Kleinpenning ranked second in both assists and total points and added four game-winning goals, solidifying his role as a driving force in the Mountain Lions' offensive success. 

Senior forward Leho Le Louarn, from Rennes, France, was named to the Third Team All-America list after a standout year in which he finished second in the conference and 11th nationally with 13 goals. He also contributed six assists and ranked 15th in Division II with 32 total points. Le Louarn's performance earned him First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region honors. He delivered two hat tricks during the season and tallied four game-winning goals, repeatedly coming through in crucial moments for Young Harris. 

The national accolades reflect the significant impact both players had throughout the 2025 season and underscore their status as two of the top performers in Division II men's soccer.
