YOUNG HARRIS, Ga| Young Harris College has announced the hiring of Cameron Armer as an assistant coach for Men's Soccer. Armer will be an impactful addition to the program, bringing valuable coaching and playing experience.
A native of Broxbourne, England, Armer comes to Young Harris after a stellar senior season at Schreiner University. In the 2025-2026 season, Armer earned SCAC honorable mention honors as a striker after leading his team in goals. Alongside his playing career, Armer has gained coaching experience through an internship with Schreiner and assisting in Hill Country united sessions.
"I'm incredibly grateful and excited for the opportunity to join the Young Harris Men's Soccer program as an assistant coach," said Armer. "Watching the success the team had last season made this an opportunity I was eager to be a part of, and I'm excited to help build on that momentum. I look forward to working alongside Coach Dean Grey and the rest of the staff to continue pushing the program forward. My goal is to bring a strong work ethic, willingness to get better, and a love for footy whilst helping our student athletes develop both on and off the pitch. I'm thankful to Coach Grey for believing in me and trusting me with this opportunity, and I'm proud to become part of the Mountain Lion family. I can't wait to get to Young Harris and get to work!"
