ROME, Ga. | Young Harris College men's soccer beat Shorter 3-1 on Saturday afternoon to win the 2024 Conference Carolinas Southwest Division Title! The Mountain Lions win gives them back-to-back division championships.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
· Young Harris scored all three of their goals in five minutes of play to secure the victory.
· In the 52nd minute, Leho Le Louarn found Sacha De Corte, who buried the first goal of the match.
· Two minutes later, Jorge Oteiza ripped a shot from outside the box. Shorter's keeper couldn't handle the shot and Sergio Llopart got the rebound and scored to put YHC up 2-0 early in the second half.
· Ivar Na Aga lifted it to Thomas Kleinpenning, who fired it into the back of the net, putting the exclamation mark on the win and the Mountain Lions second straight title
· Michael Fetterolf scored Shorter's lone goal of the match in the 78th minute and Leo Barajas got the assist.
· Young Harris out shot Shorter 16-5 and had five shots on goal.
