No. 11 Flagler downs Young Harris

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | Ella Pinder scored three goals to lead 11th-ranked Flagler College past Young Harris College 20-7 in a Gulf South Conference women's lacrosse match Saturday (April 8) afternoon at the Flagler Lacrosse Field.

The Saints improved to 12-1 overall and to 3-0 in the league, while the Mountain Lions fell to 6-8 and 1-2. Young Harris will host Lee University Wednesday (April 12) with a 4 p.m. GSC match at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

Kinsley Purser scored twice to lead the Mountain Lions, while Ella Hancock, Emily Flynt, Ashlyn Fraley, Ruthie Mandell and Chapman James each scored once.
Hancock posted two assists, while Flynt had one.
Hancock led YHC with five draw controls, while Mary Troyer had three and Ally Cattoni contributed two more.
Purser led the way with four ground balls, while Flynt, Maddy Meyers and Hancock each scooped up two apiece.
Hancock had two caused turnovers for the Mountain Lions.
Meyers led YHC with six saves in goal, while Abbie Gallagher had two.
