TUCSON, Ariz. | The Young Harris College baseball team jumped up eight spots to No. 17 in the latest Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division II.
The No. 17 ranking is the highest ever in the Mountain Lions' NCAA Division II era, surpassing the No. 20 ranking last season. YHC set a program record with its 21st Peach Belt Conference victory Sunday (April 16) after defeating the University of South Carolina-Beaufort 23-15. The previous best PBC win total of 20 was set during the 2021 season.
The Mountain Lions, who are 33-11 overall and currently on an eight-game win streak, returns to action Friday (April 21) as they open up a three-game conference series with a 6 p.m. contest against Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina.
