TIGERVILLE, S.C. | North Greenville University rallied to win four men's tennis singles matches to defeat Young Harris College 4-3 Saturday (Feb. 18) afternoon at the Vance Tennis Complex.
The Crusaders earned their first win of the season as they improved to 1-4, while the Mountain Lions saw their five-match win streak come to an end as they fall to 5-2. YHC returns to action Sunday (Feb. 19) with a 2 p.m. home match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex against Carson-Newman University.
INSIDE THE SCORESHEETS:
- Young Harris took a 1-0 lead after picking up the doubles point as the Mountain Lions claimed wins at No. 1 and No. 2 flights.
- Mason Harmon at No. 3 singles won his match in straight sets, while Michael Schut earned a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win at No. 6.
