No. 16 Eagles get past Mountain Lions 18-9

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Kenley Zeruto scored four goals to lead No. 16 Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University past Young Harris College 18-9 in a women's lacrosse match Wednesday (Feb. 15) afternoon at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

The Eagles improved to 1-1, while the Mountain Lions fell to 2-2. YHC returns to action Sunday (Feb. 19) at 11 a.m. when they host Davis & Elkins College.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

Embry-Riddle scored the first eight goals.
Ella Hancock led the Mountain Lions with four goals, while Ashlyn Fraley had two, Ruthie Mandell, Morgan Lewis and Mary Troyer accounted for a goal each.
Kinsley Purser tallied three assists, while Mandell had two. Lewis and Troyer collected one apiece.
Purser, Emily Flynt and Troyer each had two draw controls for the Mountain Lions.
Hancock corralled three ground balls, while Suzanne Moore had two. Hancock also registered two caused turnovers.
McKenna Graf (5), Maddy Meyers (4) and Abbie Gallagher (1) combined for 10 saves between the pipes for Young Harris.
