WSOC | Three Mountain Lions named to Conference Carolinas All-Conference first and second teams

YOUNG HARRIS, GA. | Conference Carolinas has released its 2023 women's soccer all-conference honors as chosen by the league's head coaches. The Young Harris College women's soccer team had three players named to the first and second teams. The Mountain Lions finished the 2023 slate with a 9-6-4 overall record and a 8-4 conference record. 

All-Conference First Team:
  • Charlotte Brown a mid fielder from Beaverton, Oregon recorded five goals and nine assists for 19 points as a freshman. 
All-Conference Second Team: 
  • Alexis Scarpinato a forward from Kennesaw, Georgia totaled 11 goals with four assists for 26 points. Scarpinato recorded three game-winning goals and was 3-3 in PK's. 
  • Shania Harris a forward from Portmore, Jamaica finished the season with seven goals and one assist for 15 points. Harris was 1-1 in PK's and scored one game-winning goal.
