YOUNG HARRIS, GA. | the Young Harris College women's tennis team picked up 12 wins in singles and doubles play at the YHC Invitational September 30th - October 1st at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex. 

YHC returns to action Wednesday, October 11th when they face Lenoir-Rhyne at home. 

INSIDE THE COURTS:

• Marcko Ferreira and Simone Mercier earned a 6-3 win in doubles against Salozor and Kruger from Reinhardt University.
• Mercier, Luciana Bejarano, Emily Bush, Meghna Mallath, Viviana Gomez, and Holly Ashford all picked up wins in singles play for YHC. 
• Gomez collected three wins, including an 8-3 victory over Reinhardt, and a 6-2 and 6-1 win against the University of West Georgia. 
• Mercier, Ashford, and Bejarano each picked up multiple wins in singles play.
