MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | No. 68 Georgia College edged No. 67 Young Harris College 4-3 in a Peach Belt Conference men's tennis match Friday (April 8) afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility.
The Bobcats improved to 6-8 overall and 1-4 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 5-10 and 0-4. YHC returns to action Friday (April 15) at 2 p.m. when they host nationally ranked Columbus State University at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
INSDIE THE BOXSCORE:
- Romeo Luque and Eric DelValle won their singles matches in straight sets, while Janis Auslands won his match in a third set tiebreaker.
- Luque won his match at No. 5 singles by scores of 6-3, 6-3, while DelValle won No. 6 singles 6-4, 6-4.
- Auslands dropped his first set at No. 4 singles 6-1, before winning the next two sets 6-4 and 1-0 (7).
