GREENWOOD, S.C. | The Young Harris College women's golf team is in 18th place after the opening round of the Lady Bearcat Invitational hosted by Lander University Monday (March 28) afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

• The Mountain Lions shot a 333 on the par 72, 5,931-yard layout at the Greenwood Country Club.
• Columbus State University leads the tournament after posting a 303 in the first round, two strokes better than Lincoln Memorial University and three strokes ahead of Lee University and Lenoir-Rhyne University.
• Emma Andersson is the top YHC golfer in the field after her 82 puts her in a tie for 59th place.
• Emma Agermo and Erica Andersson are each tied for 70th after carding 83s in the first round.
• Peyton Rich is tied for 89th place after an 85, while Connor Johnson is tied for 105th after shooting an 89.
• The 36-hole tournament concludes Tuesday (March 29) morning.
