NINETY SIX, S.C. | The Young Harris College women's golf team closed out competition at the Grand Harbor Classic with a 19th-place finish, posting a three-round total of +112 (976).
The Mountain Lions opened the tournament with a +34 (322) in round one before carding a +38 (326) in round two. Young Harris wrapped up the event with a +40 (328) in the final round.
Lucy Wiegert (T68) led the way for the Mountain Lions, finishing with a three-round score of +20. She improved each round, shooting +9 (81) in round one, +7 (79) in round two, and closing strong with a +4 (76) in the final round.
Tamara Brito finished tied for 88th at +30, posting rounds of +9 (81), +12 (84), and +9 (81). Avery Cauwels followed in a tie for 93rd at +31 with rounds of +7 (79), +7 (79), and +17 (89).
Abbie Arthur placed 98th overall at +34, recording rounds of +9 (81), +12 (84), and +13 (85). Anna Moore competed as an individual and finished at +46 with rounds of +14 (86), +18 (90), and +14 (86).
